I love to create free e-patterns, free e-printables, and free e-books for my customers and blog readers and have created several of each.

My New Alpacas Rock Fabric Collection

I just LOVE designing fabrics and love it when some of the graphics I create for other purposes end up creating wonderful fabric designs.  Such was the case with some of the alpaca  graphics I created for the Alpacas Rock line of e-printables. The graphics were also a perfect fit for a custom fabric line so I created one called Alpacas Rock Fabric Collection.

My Alpacas Rock Fabric Collection includes 9 Cut and Sew Ornaments fabrics. There are 29 fabrics in total in my Alpacas Rock Fabric Collection based on the following graphic designs:

I just LOVE the alpacas and can hardly wait to start creating. I'm not going to tell you what I'm making with my new alpaca fabrics. That will be a surprise. Stay tuned.

I Entered My First Fabric Contest On Spoonflower

Well, I finally did it.  I entered my first fabric design contest on Spoonflower.  It's for the Birthdays fabric of the week contest.  I am so excited.

Here's what the contest is about:

With the introduction of Spoonflower custom gift wrap, what better time to ask designers for birthday-themed designs? Previews will be shown at the swatch size (8" x 8"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Voting will begin May 2nd.
So, I thought some of the fabrics from my Hawk Family Birthday Doll Crafting Parties Collection would be a perfect fit.  Since you can only enter one I decided to enter my Hawk Family With Blue Background Fabric.

Here's what I just saw after I entered the contest:

You are now entered in the Birthdays Fabric of the week contest!

Note that your contest entry will appear in the contest EXACTLY as it does inside the green box below:

Wish me luck!
