My New Alpacas Rock Fabric Collection

I just LOVE designing fabrics and love it when some of the graphics I create for other purposes end up creating wonderful fabric designs.  Such was the case with some of the alpaca  graphics I created for the Alpacas Rock line of e-printables. The graphics were also a perfect fit for a custom fabric line so I created one called Alpacas Rock Fabric Collection.

My Alpacas Rock Fabric Collection includes 9 Cut and Sew Ornaments fabrics. There are 29 fabrics in total in my Alpacas Rock Fabric Collection based on the following graphic designs:

I just LOVE the alpacas and can hardly wait to start creating. I'm not going to tell you what I'm making with my new alpaca fabrics. That will be a surprise. Stay tuned.

Well, I finally did it.  I entered my first fabric design contest on Spoonflower.  It's for the Birthdays fabric of the week contest.  I am so excited.

Alpacas Rock - New Line For It's Raining Doll Parties

The "dollies" and I have been having so much fun with our new "It's Raining Doll Parties" Hawk Family Line of products that we decided to create a new line of not only party decorations, but decorations for alpaca farm days, alpaca farmers, and anyone who loves alpacas.

Truth be told the "dollies" have been wanting me to do something for their alpaca "cousins"  since I visited them last fall and came back with pictures and pictures of their "cousins."  So our Alpacas Rock line of party, farm days event, custom fabric, and handmade decorations was born.

Alpacas Rock is for boys and girls birthday crafting parties, alpaca farm days events, and alpaca farmers. The Alpacas Rock products consist of graphics of some of the "dollies" alpaca cousins including CosmoMasquerade ,Sunflower, Zinnia, and Ivy. Masquerade  who is a a full Peruvian alpaca is the mascot.  His fiber is a blend of brown, black, and gray and he has a black and white face.  The "dollies" and I just LOVE his face and I fell in love with him when I visited Rock Garden Alpacas last fall.   If you'd like to read more about my visit to Rock Garden Alpacas please read my "What  A View" and my "My Visit To Rock Garden Alpacas" posts.   The Alpacas Rock as a group have their own line of graphics and a large selection of adorable products to choose from as well.

Whether it's a boys birthday party, girls birthday, crafting party, or alpaca farm days event then you've come to the right place. Alpacas Rock can provide you with easy to make cut and sew alpaca animals, beginner e-patterns that are very easy to make, easy to make alpaca animal e-printables, coloring e-books, custom alpaca fabric for making all sorts of home decor and an alpaca party products gallery with invitations, puzzles, cake toppers, kids aprons, wall decals, playing cards, ornaments, wristlets, table decorations, and so much more. We even have dartboards, skateboards, plaques and notebooks.

We also have plenty of handmade alpaca decorations like pillow, mini-quilt, ornaments, tote bags, mug rugs and so much more.  Or, if you like making your own handmade decorations we have custom alpaca fabric designs.

Alpacas Rock!

GREAT NEWS From ETSY - New Digital Goods Delivery Process

If you are an e-pattern e-book, e-printable, and e-tutorial crafts seller like I am you'll be happy to know that Etsy just announced that they have a new delivery process for digital goods. What this means is that if you sell downloadable items (like, e-patterns,e-books,e-printables, e-tutorials, etc.) then you can now upload your digital file(s) to the your listing whereby your buyer will be be able to automatically download it once payment has been made.

Plus, you can upload up to five digital goods for any one item listing which means you can sell digital goods with multiple files.

If your customers have a problem with their download they can contact Etsy's Support team at .

According to Etsy - After purchasing a digital file, you’ll see a link to the Downloads page. Here, you can download all the files associated with your order. Downloads are available once your payment is confirmed. If you paid with PayPal or a credit card on Etsy, confirmation may take a few minutes. You’ll see a notice at the top of the page, if your payment is still processing. Etsy will also send you a download notification email separate from any transaction notification emails you receive from Etsy and/or PayPal. You can also access your download file from your Etsy account. Just go to the Purchases page and look for your order then click Files Ready to Download.

This is GREAT news for sellers of digital goods (i.e. e-products) as you used to have to email your digital goods to your customer as an attachment in a separate email.

For more information please check out Etsy's New Delivery Process for Digital Goods on Etsy Blog Post and their "frequently asked questions" page.

I Just LOVE Designing Fabric

I really do need to get more focused and stop playing.  I just can't help myself when I'm having so much fun.  Of course, nothing else gets done when I'm having fun, but life isn't all about work - now is it?

Have I got you wondering what I've been doing that's so much fun?

Well, I've been designing new fabrics for my Linda Walsh Originals Spoonflower Custom Fabric Store.

I've been designing fabrics for three years now and so far I've designed 159 fabrics. To say I LOVE designing fabric is putting it mildly. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

Designing the fabrics is the easy part.  Making items out of the fabrics I've designed is the time consuming part.  I've been toiling away and have made many, many baby shower decorations and gifts out of some of my baby shower fabric lines.  I'm still working on that line and will have several new fabrics to share with you.

Next on the agenda for making items is the Babies In The Pumpkin Patch group of fabrics I designed.  They just happen to be Fall themed and just happen to be filed with all my favorite Fall colors.  It's FALL - my favorite time of the year so what else can you expect? My creative juices for everything FALL, babies, and pumpkins will be in overdrive.

So stay tuned.  The "dollies" and I have lots and lots to show you.

The "Dollies" and My NEW It's Raining Doll Parties Website

I can remember having tea parties with my dolls and friends when I was a little girl. I bet you can, too. In fact, those times were some of the most enchanting times in my life.

As you all know I'm a doll maker and doll pattern designer who lives with 1,796 dolls of my own creation. The "dollies" think they are human so it is never boring in our house - especially when they decide it's time for "crafting."

I still love dolls, love to design dolls, and love to craft.  In fact, you could say I've never outgrown my love of dolls, crafting dolls and creating decorations for parties. The "dollies" and I have so much fun - especially when we're crafting that we decided you might like to throw a "dollie"crafting party of your own.  So, the "dollies" and I decided to create a new website and product line entitled "It's Raining Doll Parties" using the Hawk Family children.

There are eleven children in the Hawk family: Tom A. Hawk, Toni E. Hawk, Ditsy Daisy Hawk, Dapper Devil Shamus Hawk, Penelope Pinhead Hawk, Wild Irish Rose Hawk, Tangerine Lilly Hawk, Henrietta Hawk, Devilish Cousin Andy Hawk, Cousin Reginald Reggie Pinhead Hawk, and Cousin Hillary's Secret Hawk. They each have their own line of graphics and products. The Hawk Family as a group also has their own line of graphics and a large selection of adorable products to choose from. If you'd like to read the Hawk family stories please CLICK HERE.

Whether it's a tea party, birthday party, crafting party, or friends party then you've come to the right place. "It's Raining Doll Parties" can provide you with easy to make cut and sew cloth  dolls, beginner e-patterns that are very easy to make, easy to make paper doll e-printables, coloring e-books, doll party fabric for making all sorts of items, handmade dolls that I've made, a doll party products gallery with invitations, puzzles, cake toppers, kids aprons, wall decals, playing cards, ornaments, wristlets, table decorations, and so much more.  We even have dartboards, skateboards, plaques and notebooks.

We will also be posting ideas for throwing the best doll crafting party and some freebies to make your doll crafting party the best ever.

At the "It's Raining Doll Parties" website we can help you plan and decorate for the the perfect doll crafting party.

It's also raining doll parties at our "It's Raining Doll Parties Products Gallery" and a "It's Raining Doll Parties Etsy Shop."

Time to craft.

Tea anyone!
